I - Présentation

Queens of the Stone Age est un groupe de stoner rock californien fondé en 1996 après la dissolution du groupe Kyuss. A l'origine baptisé Gamma Ray par son guitariste et chanteur Josh Homme et son batteur Alfredo Hernandez, le groupe changea pour Queens of the Stone Age ; en effet Gamma Ray était déjà utilisé par le célèbre groupe de speed metal allemand.

En résumé, les membres du groupe sont actuellement:

- Josh Homme (chant, guitare, basse)
- Troy Van Leeuwen (chant, guitare, basse, claviers)
- Michael Schuman (basse)
- Joey Castillo (batterie)
- Dean Fertita (claviers)

* Stoner rock: Style de rock et de métal se caractérisant par des rythmiques simples et répétitives (hypnotiques ?), une basse très lourde et un esprit rock

III - A écouter !

Mon album préféré est Lullabies to Paralyze
Je vous conseille d'écouter, dans cet album :
Everybody Knows That You're Insane, Burn the witch mais aussi I Never Came (chanson sublime !), ou encore Someone's in the Wolf, et enfin Long Slow Goodbye, plus calme !
J'aime néanmoins tous les albums !
Surtout, à écouter aussi (nan rassurez vous je vais pas toutes les mettre XD) Another Love Song !

J' éspère que mon post vous a plus, et qui sait vous a fait peut être découvrir un nouveau groupe ^^
Si vous connaissiez déjà, alors j'attends vos avis avec impatience (ou même si vous venez de découvrir \o/)
